Är det någon som vet något om världens undergång enligt Tolkien?
Enligt Skalman så ska ju Turin stå vid Fionwës sida i sista striden mot Morgoths horder. Finns det något mer skrivet om detta?

I de förlorade sagornas bok 2 nämns lite i slutet om undergången men detta slut som härstämmar och bygger på tolkiens tidiga tolkning av världen stämmer inte så väl in med den senare mytologin som mycket av lotr bygger på. I den tidiga verisionen fanns ju inte andra eller tredje ålderns historia skriven ens.
Vad sóm sägs är väl att människorna sprider sig i hela midgård och alverna bleknar bort.. Melko återkommer till världen efter att Tevildo gangt sönder hans bojorn efter långa tidsåldrar och välter solen så att urwendi faller ner i havet och dör och solen lyser därefter inte lika starkt. Eonwe känner stort raseri och sorg över detta och skall därför dröpa melko när slutet kommer med turumbar vid sin sida. Men Melko hamnar utanför världen igen på ett något underligt sätt, genom en tall som välts och när han hittar en väg tillbaka ska de tstora slutet komma.
