Vesna Vulović är bekant som den som överlevde ett fall på över 10.000 meter med på Wikipedia läser jag nedanstående påstående, är det någon som känner sig mer om detta? Den enda källan som används i artikeln är en Guardian artikel med bara journalisternas påståenden men man förmodar att någon undersökning gjordes?

In January 2009 German ARD radio correspondent Peter Hornung-Andersen together with German journalist Tim van Beveren and Czech journalist Pavel Theiner published a report based on newly found documents, mainly from the Czech Civil Aviation Authority and the Czech Republic's National Archive, concluding that it was "extremely probable" that the plane had been shot down by mistake by the Czechoslovak Air Force.[7] They claim that the plane broke up only a few hundred meters above the ground, not the 10,000 metres claimed by the official investigation.[8] This claim was backed by evidence, e.g. secret reports in which several eye witnesses said that they saw Vesna's plane flying below the clouds before it crashed and maps drawn by Czechoslovak investigators showing that the largest parts of the plane were found in an area rather small which would not have been the case if the plane broke apart in 10,000 metres altitude.[9] The Czech Civil Aviation Authority nevertheless issued a statement denying the claim without addressing the evidence.[citation needed] The original statement has given rise to more recent reports.[8] Vulović, despite having no memory of the crash or the flight after boarding,[7] has challenged these new theories, denying the claim that the plane descended to a much lower altitude while attempting a forced landing.[citation needed] A representative of Guinness World Records stated that "it seems that at the time Guinness was duped by this swindle just like the rest of the media."[7]

Efter 15 månader tillsammans med serber kan ja skriva under på det påståendet.
Kanske värd en annan diskussion, men konspirationsteorier är något det har gemensamt med libaneser. Är folkgrupper som utsetts för mycket elände extra benägna att ägna sig åt dylikt?

Bra fråga, i min värld är folk från Balkan i topp. Grekerna ligger i samma härad som Serberna. Och jag känner en bunt. Skall fråga varför.

I know about this. This is a murky, very murkey business.
1. Sweden (a shadow business) housed many terrorists from ex-YU which, no doubt, were implicated is horrible things.
2. The Communists (a shadow business) have done many dark things too.

The general story for decades about the downing was that source was No.1. I do not discount No.2 at all. The worst is that the civilians suffer. No matter who did it, should and must be...

Hi Hans,

I remember there was a discussion about this. All this Ustasa terrorist act is very suspicious, apparently there was just one phone call that could have been just a "camouflage" by Czech or GDR secret service.
And the fuselage was found almost in one piece, whereas it would have been dispersed on several sqkm if a semtex bomb exploded 10000m high.
They also say that there was a high level of emergency for the air defense because there was a meeting of the Warsaw Pact prime ministers in Prague.
Finally, surviving a fall from 10 km would indeed be very surprising…..

On the other hand, military people (both those having been on service and authorities) deny it because so close of West Germany (less than 150 km) any military plane chasing a commercial flight would be intercepted by NATO radars (in those old times every aircraft was followed manually by civil and military air control).
