Libyen stormning av USAs ambassad 1979?

Har precis läst boken "Licens to Kill" av Robert Pelton Young, där berättas det om en Amerikansk f.d elitsoldat som var "konsult" i Libyen åt Libyens militär när USAs ambassad blev stormad i Tripoli precis efter att
Teherans blivit det och att han fick fly hals över huvud.
Nån som vet något mer om detta?

STAN CASE, CNN REPORTER: The stage was set for the collapse of U.S. diplomatic ties with Libya in 1979. A mob chanting pro-Iran slogans set fire to the American embassy in Tripoli. Washington's response was quick: Libya was designated as a state sponsor of terrorism and all embassy staff members were withdrawn.
